GENERAL QUESTIONS

Common questions about Google Business Profile and our services

What is Google Business Profile?
Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) is a free Google tool that allows businesses and professionals to appear in local searches and Google Maps. It's your business's digital business card on Google.
Is it free?
Yes, Google Business Profile is 100% free. You don't pay anything to Google to have a profile. The investment with RVNR is for optimization, management, and professional content creation.
What's the difference between Google Business Profile and Google Ads?
GBP is organic and free — you appear in searches without paying per click. Google Ads is paid — you pay each time someone clicks on your ad. They are complementary strategies, but GBP offers lasting results without continuous cost.
Do I need a website to use Google Business Profile?
No. GBP works independently. Having a website helps, but it's not mandatory. Many local businesses use only GBP as their main digital presence.
What exactly does RVNR do?
We offer audit, optimization, and management of your Google Business Profile. This includes: analysis of current profile, correction of information, creation of optimized descriptions, strategic posts, response to reviews, and performance reports.
What is NOT included in the services?
We don't do: website creation, social media management (Instagram, Facebook), Google Ads, website SEO, professional photo/video production. Our focus is exclusively Google Business Profile.
Do you create the profile from scratch?
Yes. If you don't have a profile yet, we create and configure it from scratch. If you already have one, we audit and optimize the existing one.
How does the free diagnosis work?
You fill out the contact form, we schedule a conversation, analyze your current profile (or lack thereof) and present a report with improvement opportunities. No commitment.
How long does optimization take?
Initial optimization takes 5 to 10 business days, depending on complexity. Continuous management is monthly, with regular deliveries throughout the month.
Do I need to give access to my Google account?
Yes, but securely. You add us as profile manager, maintaining full ownership. You can revoke access at any time.
How soon will I see results?
Initial results (increase in views) usually appear in 2 to 4 weeks. Consolidated results (more calls, directions, messages) take 2 to 3 months of consistent work.
Do you guarantee first position on Google?
No. No one can guarantee that — Google's algorithm considers hundreds of factors. What we guarantee is a profile optimized according to best practices, which significantly increases your chances of good placement.
How do you measure success?
We track Google's own metrics: profile views, clicks to call, directions requests, website clicks, messages and review volume. You receive periodic reports with this data.
What's the investment?
Values vary according to service (one-time or recurring) and project complexity. All values are upon request. Request a personalized quote.
Is there a loyalty contract?
No. In recurring packages, we recommend a minimum of 3 months to see consistent results, but there's no cancellation penalty.
How does payment work?
One-time services: advance payment via Pix or transfer. Recurring packages: monthly payment, always in advance.
How do I cancel?
Just notify with 15 days notice before the next cycle. We remove our access to the profile and you continue with full autonomy.

FOR LAWYERS

Questions about OAB compliance and legal communication

Is Google Business Profile allowed by OAB?
Yes. GBP is an information tool, not advertising. As long as the content is informative and follows the rules of Provision 205/2021, its use is completely permitted.
What is Provision 205/2021?
It's the OAB regulation that governs advertising and communication of lawyers. Defines what can and cannot be done in digital communication, including social media and online profiles.
What's the difference between information and advertising?
Information is educational, clarifying content, without direct commercial appeal. Advertising is direct promotion of services with intent to capture clients. Lawyers can inform, but not make ostensive advertising.
Can I advertise prices of my services?
No. Disclosure of values is prohibited by the OAB Code of Ethics. Your profile should focus on areas of practice, education, and contact information.
Can I use photos of clients or cases?
No. Professional confidentiality prevents the disclosure of client information, even with authorization. Avoid any mention of specific cases.
Can I ask clients to leave reviews?
With caution. You can inform that reviews help others learn about your work, but you cannot offer advantages in exchange or apply pressure. Reviews should be spontaneous.
What should I NOT do on my profile?
Avoid: promises of results, mention of values, terms like "the best", "leading expert", photos of clients, aggressive promotional language, comparisons with other lawyers.
Why hire someone with legal training?
Because we understand the nuances of Provision 205/2021. A generic marketing professional may create content that looks good but violates OAB rules. Our legal training avoids this risk.
What if the OAB questions my profile?
Our methodology includes a compliance checklist based on Provision 205/2021. If questioned, we provide documentation proving content compliance. We work preventively to avoid problems.

FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES

Questions about local visibility and conversion

How does GBP help my local business?
Google Business Profile makes you appear when customers search for services in your area. It's like having a digital business card that works 24/7 on Google Maps and local searches.
Can I promote promotions and prices?
Yes! Unlike lawyers, local businesses can use direct calls-to-action, promotions, discounts, and advertise prices freely. It's an important competitive advantage.
How to appear in the "Top 3" local?
The algorithm considers: relevance (how well your profile matches the search), distance (proximity to the user), and prominence (reviews, profile completeness). We work on all these factors.
How many posts should I make per month?
We recommend 1-2 posts per week (4-8 per month). Regular posts show your business is active and increase engagement, improving your position in results.
What to post on my profile?
Content that adds value: business news, promotions, photos of products/services, special hours, events, tips related to your industry. Avoid generic or irrelevant content.
How to respond to negative reviews?
With professionalism and empathy: thank for the feedback, apologize if necessary, offer to resolve the issue privately. A well-crafted response can turn criticism into a demonstration of good service.
Can I use the same content from Instagram?
You can, but adapt. GBP has a different audience and objectives. Focus on practical information that helps in purchasing decisions: location, hours, services, prices, facilities.
How to measure return on investment?
Through Google metrics: profile views, clicks to call, directions requests, clicks to website, messages received. Monthly reports show the growth of these indicators.
Is it worth investing in GBP if I already have a website and social media?
Absolutely! GBP complements your digital ecosystem. While the website deepens information and social media engages, GBP converts local searches into customers directly and immediately.
